Ecstatic Dance
DJ Training

Build a journey, not a playlist. The wave arc, tempo and key flow, reading a floor, mixing with intention, and knowing when silence is the next track.

The complete course for DJs, musicians and facilitators who want to hold an ecstatic dance floor through music. The next intake will be announced.

Curriculum

What you will learn.

Six parts take you from the shape of a journey to playing one. The full syllabus, schedule and format will be shared with the course details.

The anatomy of a journey, from arrival through the peak to rest, and why every stage matters.
Building energy that rises without pushing: tempo, key and texture across a whole set.
Following the room, not the plan. Noticing what the dancers need and adapting in real time.
Opening and closing a journey with intention, alongside the facilitator and the circle.
Space as the most powerful track: silence, spoken word and the moments between songs.
Bringing it all together: preparing and playing a complete journey of your own, with mentoring and feedback.

You will leave able to

  • Build a complete wave, from arrival to rest
  • Mix smoothly across tempo and key
  • Read a floor and adapt in real time
  • Open and close a journey with care and intention
